For the 2023 Swim Across America Event I am swimming in memory of our Sisters who are not here now because cancer took their lives too soon.  I hope you will support me while I kick some butt in the water to  fight cancer and fund local research trials.

My beautiful sister Patty, fought sarcoma for over 10 years.  In the extended family, another wonderful sister, Judy, lost her battle with cancer while the community lost a special educator. In 1992 my best friend Eileen, died from an aggressive form of breast cancer and again the world was rob of a loving  Childrens  Librarian and free spirit.

As I move along in life loving and honoring  their memories, I keep pushing to raise money to keep cancer awareness and local research programs vital in our community and for all our friends and families battling the disease.
