Swim Across America - Charlotte Team Unified

Welcome to Team Unified Charlotte!  As members of the Inaugural Junior Advisory Board in Charlotte, we created Team Unified as a way to bring young philanthropist, swimmers, friends and family together, as one team, to help in the Fight Against Cancer!  

Swimmers 12 years of age through 18 years of age who do not have a team affiliation can join SAA-Charlotte Team Unified. Our target groups are high school swimmers and year round club swimmers. This group will be guided by our SAA-Charlotte Junior Advisory Board. Team Captains for Team Unified will be chosen from members who register with TU. 

Why participate in Swim Across America? SAA-Charlotte is a great opportunity to impact your community and beyond. This swim event is not about chasing a time standard or being first place. This event and the research Swim Across America supports can be life changing for those in our community that are battling cancer every day. It is also a way to honor someone you know who is being treated or passed because of cancer. You can make a difference by doing something you love!

Participants on Team Unified will be asked to raise a minimum of $250.00. Parents and/or friends of Team Unified, who are older than 18, will be asked to raise a minimum of $400.00.  Swim Across America - Charlotte will take place on October 8th, 2023 at Camp Thunderbird.
