Cancer takes family and friends from us with terrible randomness. No one can be sure that he/she won't get it, and though one can reduce the likelihood of getting the disease there's no certainty. My mother died of lymphoma. It came out of nowhere. And our son-in-law is fighting to conquer his cancer as he participates in an experimental trial.
If you are able, please support my swim by making a gift. The researchers we are funding are in our community and are the next generation of cancer pioneers. Without Swim Across America early stage funding, they are not able to conduct trials that can lead to breakthroughs that can save lives. Thank you for helping make an impact in the fight to find a cure!
