Founded in 1987, Swim Across America has hosted charity swims with one goal: to raise money for innovative cancer research that would lead to breakthrough treatments and therapies. Since then, Swim Across America has raised over $100M to fund the next generation of pioneers in oncology and cancer-support care.   The 2023 Chicago Open Water Swim will be raising funds to support cancer research and leading-edge patient care at Rush University Cancer Center.  

I will be getting my hair wet this year in honor of Foster Dale & Rich Padula, our dear friends who have been way too up close and personal with cancer this year,.  

I  also will be swimming in very fond memory of my much loved sister-in-law Wendy Alderman and my in-laws Alan & Carolyn Schlossberg.
