All money raised through the Swim Across America event benefits the Rush Cancer Center.  You can swim any distance - 1/2 mile, 1 mile, 1.5 mile, 2 mile relay, or the 3 mile.  The swim is non-competitive, so don't be intimidated to get out there in swim.  Not a swimmer?  You can still join the team and fundraise.  There will be a group of us not swimming and cheering on the swimmers in and out of the water.  We would love to have you join us for this special day honoring those that are fighting cancer and remembering those who we have lost to the disease.

In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer. We joined the SAA community so that, together, we can change that. We are challenging ourselves by swimming in the Chicago Open Water Swim and raising as much money to fight cancer as we can. Please support us by sponsoring our swim and making a gift.
