Team Russ
Team Russ was founded in 2011 by team captain Cathie Gray after longtime swimmer and volunteer extraordinaire Russ Haffner lost a brief but insurmountable battle with the big C.
The Chicago chapter of SAA also instituted a Volunteer of the Year award that year, named in honor of Russ and his tireless commitment to SAA.
