2020 marks my 10th season with Swim Across America Dallas and my fifth year as captain of Loretta’s Gills, a tribute team in memory of my Mom, Loretta Blazic Kelley, who died of lung cancer.
This year, as in 2019, I will be supporting SAA Dallas as an off-site swimmer due to a date conflict. While I will not be able to join my Dallas SAA family and swim at Lake Ray Hubbard, I am still inspired and motivated to swim for donations that benefit the Swim Across America Innovative Clinical Trials Center (ICTC) at Baylor Charles A. Sammons Cancer Center.
Why. I Swim. To honor. To support. To give others hope. To help cancer patients on their journey to become cancer survivors. To raise money to fund the research and clinical trials desperately needed to advance the standard of care for cancer therapies.
No amount is too small to help researchers get new treatment options to the patients whose lives depend on them.
You can make a credit card donation by clicking on my personal page's DONATE NOW link to the right, or by sending a check to Swim Across America Dallas, PO Box 822254, Dallas, TX 75382. (Checks should be made out to Swim Across America but please include a note mentioning my name as the swimmer you are supporting.)
Thank you for your generous support and encouragement.
