I am once again partnered with Swim Across America for one simple but profound purpose: to raise money for innovative cancer research that may lead to breakthrough treatments and therapies. Swim Across America has raised over $100M to fund the next generation of pioneers in oncology and cancer-support care. 

As a cancer survivor for the last 13 years, I know first-hand what it’s like to benefit from innovative treatments. Without the drug Herceptin, which I was infused with every 3 weeks for a year, it’s unlikely I would be here today, asking you to join me in contributing to such an amazing organization. 

And I have found one of the loves of my life in open water swimming! I will be swimming 2-miles on August 20 as part of this fundraising effort. Swimming to raise money for cancer research pairs two of my passions and I would love for you to be part of this journey.
