Founded in 1987, Swim Across America has hosted charity swims with one goal: to raise money for innovative cancer research that would lead to breakthrough treatments and therapies. Since then, Swim Across America has raised over $100M to fund the next generation of pioneers in oncology and cancer-support care. 

I joined Swim Across America because I believe in their mission and want to help give more families hope.  My goal is to swim in honor of my friend Scotty "Beast" (28 years old) from a summer camp I worked at, as well as for all of the AMAZING researchers, nurses, and hospital staff who have helped my family in a recent event as well.  If you are able, please support me by making a donation to help me reach my fundraising goal. 

Upon signing up for the Denver Swim Across America my life has already been enriched - many really awesome women at my recreation center have offered to swim & train with me. I have always loved the water and this is such a special event to get to be involved in. Swim Across America  is an awesome community to be apart of and I am so excited to swim on August 20th.
