In 2019 I had the opportunity to swim with Swim across American and I loved it. It was so fun to open water swim while knowing I was doing it for a great cause. In 2021 I swam the 1 mile and it was such a rewarding experience. It was nice knowing that I was contributing to a bigger cause. On July 8, 2022 I am swimming 2 miles in open water off Belle aisle beach. In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer. I joined Swim Across America so some day in my lifetime, that will change. One thing I love about Swim Across America is that all donations go to a local cancer research center near that swim. All of the donations I get will go to the University of Michigan’s Health Rogel Cancer Center. I challenge you to give up 1 night out to dinner to support cancer research through Swim Across America.
