Everyone is affected by cancer in some way, either directly themself or a loved one.  I lost my mother and sister to cancer and won my 4-yr battle with cancer 12 years ago thanks to prayerful support from family and friends and new medical therapies.   

As a swim enthusiast and cancer survivor I can think of no better way to give back than partnering with an organization that significantly funds groundbreaking cancer research.  Swim Across America (SSA) is an organization that supports local swim events to fundraise for cancer research institutes in their local communities.  We joined SAA friends in the keys to launch the inaugural SAA Florida Keys last year, raising over $100k for the Miami Cancer Institute (MCI).  This years' swim will be held April 15, 2023 at Founders Park beach in Islamorada, FL.  Our goal is to raise $150k for MCI.

We invite you to partner with us to help achieve our goal.  You can participate by swimming, volunteering or just donating to our team - Team Latham.  All proceeds raised go to support our beneficiary, Miami Cancer Institute, part of the Baptist Health of South Florida healthcare system.
