Trouble signing in?

Welcome to the Swim Across America - Fairfield County Open Water Swim. Formerly known as SAA - Greenwich-Stamford, we invite swimmers of all ages and skill levels to take part in our 14th annual event in beautiful Long Island Sound. Volunteers (on land and water) are also invited to sign up and we always welcome friends and family to cheer our swimmers as they make waves to fight cancer.

  • Proceeds from our events support Alliance for Cancer Gene Therapy, the nation’s only foundation dedicated exclusively to funding cancer gene therapy research.

  • Join us at Serendipity Fashion Night Out and cheer on SAA-Fairfield County’s own Sarah Sippel as she walks the runway. PLUS, SAA receives a portion of the ticket sales from those who indicate SAA when they buy tickets and make raffle donations. GET TICKETS HERE.

Established in 2008, the SAA - Fairfield County swim has donated $4.165 million over 13 years to Alliance for Cancer Gene Therapy. 100% of funds contributed by Swim Across America to ACGT go directly to research.

We welcome new and returning SAA swimmers to our June 27th signature open water swim on the Greenwich-Stamford border with 0.5 mile, 1.5 mile and 3.0 mile distance options. If you can’t make our open water date or prefer a pool, we offer pool swims throughout Fairfield County during the summer and fall.

Volunteer kayakers, paddle boarders, boaters, and certified lifeguards are needed too! And we always welcome friends and family to cheer our swimmers as they make waves to fight cancer.

If you have any questions about SAA - Fairfield County, please contact Michele Graham or Nancy Carr.

Water Volunteers: For all boating inquiries, please contact Sean Brady. Kayakers and Stand-Up Paddleboarders can contact Dana Lee.

Note: Swimmers are required to use a wetsuit for all distances.
