In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer. I joined the Swim Across America community so that, together, we can change that. 

I am swimming in honor of my mom, Shân Brock, who sadly passed away earlier this year after a heroic 9 year battle with colon cancer. She radiated positivity, love, kindness and strength, and she lives on through us each day. I am also swimming in memory of Julian Fraser.
