Dear Friends,

The open water swim for Swim Across America will be held at Cummings Point on June 24th. The water is salty, a bit nippy and has a bit of a chop! This swim is not a race. It allows me to think about lost loved ones during my swim. This will be my twelfth year swimming in this event!

 I will swim in honor of Chris McQuilkin who battled Pancreatic cancer and passed away July, 2, 2022, for my brother Greg who died from Stomach cancer on May 25, 2020, for of all who lost their lives to cancer and for all those who are currently fighting cancer.

Cancer is such a devastating disease. In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer. I joined the Swim Across America community so that, together, we can change that.  

Please support me by making a donation. The researchers we are funding are the next generation of cancer pioneers. Without Swim Across America's early stage funding, they are not able to conduct trials that can lead to breakthroughs that can save lives.
