I am swimming for Dave Braun and Jerry Kuroghlian
Dear friends and family,
I am again swimming with a purpose to raise money for Swim Across America. This year’s Fairfield County Open Water Swim conflicts with Grace’s graduation weekend, so I will be swimming solo later this summer. I will keep you posted on the date.
I am swimming to honor the faith and courage of two incredible men who both fought pancreatic cancer—Dave Braun and Jerry “Dr. K” Kuroghlian. This is a way to give thanks for—and celebrate—these wonderful men in all the roles in which they have touched our lives, as husbands, fathers, grandfathers, uncles, friends, teachers, and mentors as Dave and Jerry were—and remain—to all of us.
My hope remains that the money we raise together will help fund a cure. Last year, together we raised nearly $3,000—and the event raised $370,000! I am so humbled by and grateful for your support.
Thank you for joining me in raising money and honoring Dave and Jerry. We miss the both every day.
With love and appreciation,
