Hello, my name is Ava, I am 13 years old and I love to swim and play waterpolo. I have been swimming almost my entire life but this is the first time I am doing Swim Across America.  I am doing Swim Across America for my nana who was recently diagnosed with cancer. I am happy to be supporting such a important cause. Over the years I have watched and cheered on my mom and siblings while they were swimming and I am very exited to be participating in the swim this year for the first time! So far I have raised $174 by doing a lemonade stand with my younger sister who is also doing the swim for the first time this year, my goal is to raise $500!
