We joined Swim Across America because we believe in their mission and want to help give more families hope. This year, we are swimming in honor of our grandmother, Mary Barker, who was diagnosed with multiple myeloma. We hope more and more treatments will be available to cancer patients as a result of Swim Across America's efforts!  We will be swimming 1.5 miles together later in June because we are traveling for Water Polo the day of the swim.
