In Memory of Maria Parmanan
In our lifetime, a third of all women alive today will be diagnosed with cancer. My mother was one of those women. She was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer and unfortunately lost her fight. My team and I are participating in the Greenwich Open Water Swim in her memory and for all those fighting this disease.
My mom loved the ocean, walking on the beach, and seeing us swim! I believe there is no better way to honor her life, and help the women and men who are still fighting, than to join with the SAA community, sponsor my swim and make a gift. The money you give will go towards cancer research, prevention and treatment and will make an impact in the fight to find a cure.
So please, support my team by sponsoring this swim and making a gift. Your generosity will give hope to millions and bring us one step closer to a cancer-free world!
