In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer. I joined the Swim Across America community so that, together, we can change that.

I am a two time cancer survivor and realize that my outcomes were the product of on-going cancer research and for the remarkable team of doctors, nurses, radiologists and of course the support of family and friends. 

I love to swim and Swim Across America seemed like the perfect event for me and an event I could reach out for support from my family and friends. All money goes to cancer research which will benefit us all.
