Hi All,
This years swim is in memory of SUZIE IRWIN. Sue is my sister who fought a courageous battle with stage 4 brain cancer who lost her fight in August of 2022. She was one of the original team members when we decided to put together Team Irwin. Glioblastoma is unfortunately a disease in which there has been no cure to date. There are many trials out there and I pray that we find a cure to give other families a glimmer of hope.
Team Irwin is in their 10th year of Swimming to fight Cancer. I am challenging myself by swimming in the Long Island Sound Swim, which is about 1.2 miles so that I can raise as much money to fight cancer.
Unfortunately, we all know someone who has been impacted by cancer so it is so important that we find a cure ASAP. Please support me by sponsoring my swim and making a gift. The money you give will go towards cancer research, prevention and treatment and will make an impact in the fight to find a cure. Thank you for your generosity and may it lead to a cancer-free world!
