Dear friends and avid supporters,

This is my 24th year of participating in SWIM ACROSS AMERICA in Larchmont NY and my 40th swim for SAA. I am so proud of the positive results of the SAA researchers and all the supporters/swimmers. 

I wish to continue to support Dr. Jedd Wolchok and Dr. Luis Diaz at Memorial Sloan Kettering and Weil Cornell for their important research on many cancer, including melanoma which both Ellen and I had. This swim also supports cancer research at Columbia Presbyterian.

I am grateful for your continued support of these important research hospitals and their dedicated staff. I will continue to swim as long as I am able and cancer is taking lives. I am swimming always in honor of my wife, Ellen, who died in 2014 and my high school buddy, Rick Hronicek, who is battling esophageal cancer. Eternally grateful for your support.
