Thank you for taking the time to visit my page. In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer. When my teammate Bruce and my friend Laura were both diagnosed with lung cancer, it made me realize that we never know what tomorrow brings. I decided to re-enter the SAA community after a long hiatus...as a personal goal for myself. In return, this gift of swimming, and the goal I set for myself, will also benefit many others as well. It will help those currently suffering with cancer--and those who have not yet been diagnosed.
I have decided to set a challenging goal for myself by swimming the 10K Long Island Sound Open Water Swim, I am hoping to raise as much money as I can to fight cancer. Please help me by sponsoring my swim and making a donation to SAA. The money you give will go towards cancer research, prevention and treatment--and will make an impact in helping to find a cure.
Thank you for your generosity and may it lead to a cancer-free world!
