Hi All- Cancer has impacted many of us and has taken the lives of far too many incredible people.  I joined the Swim Across America community so that, together, we can change that.  I am challenging myself to swim a 10K across the Long Island Sound on July 30th.  The money I raise for this event will support research at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.  During my PhD, I worked with the scientists that will benefit from this fundraiser and can attest to the transformational research that will be supported.  Without early stage funding from Swim Across America, these scientists would not be able to conduct critical research that may lead to breakthroughs that can save lives.
