I have had the honor of knowing Frank Webers for nearly 40 years.  After losing his incredible wife Kathy to cancer, Frank started The Long Island Sound Swim chapter of Swim Across America in 1992 right here in Larchmont.  SAA funds cancer research, clinical trials and patient programs by hosting charity swims and has granted nearly $100 million dollars to fund these truly important projects.  As an avid swimmer my whole life, combined with my endless desire to find ways to get involved with my community, I have proudly participated in SAA since 2006.  Last year, I put together a team named after my company Next Level Private.  One of the core tenets of Next Level Private is to give back to our community while also raising awareness for causes that are dear to us. I am proud to say we raised over $37,000.  This year we setting our sights on raising $100,000 to help in this fight!

Sadly, cancer affects too many people we love.  The numbers are staggering.  In our lifetime alone, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer.  I swim for Kathy and so many others facing this terrible disease.
