Swimming the Long Island Sound
In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer. I swim with Swim Across America to fight that.
This year i'm swimming for my dear friend Katherine who lost a courageous battle with breast cancer in February of this year. She was endlessly fun, full of life, with a raucous laugh and a fighter until the end. She will be in my every thought as I swim the Long Island Sound. I only wish she would be swimming beside me.
