Welcome to My Personal Page
Dear friends and family,
On July 23rd, Swim Across America - Nantucket Open Water Swim celebrates 10 years. Over the last nine years SAA has raised over $3.4 million dollars in funds for Nantucket Cottage Hospital and Palliative and Supportive Care of Nantucket. The benefits to the Nantucket community are truly beyond measure and your support is crucial to the success of the annual charity swim.
Many of you have supported JT in his swim each year and we consider you part of our SAA family. We are so proud of the work Swim Across America Nantucket has accomplished and look forward to being a part of such an important cause again this year. As a family, this will be our 8th year participating. Each of us has participated in whatever way we can as land volunteers, rallying donations and of course..swimming! This year we are shaking things up a bit! We formed Team Levesque with each of us participating in our own way. Pat has decided to take the baton from JT and do the 1/2 mile swim! He has not trained for one minute but is looking forward to the experience of being a rookie swimmer. As a midwestern gal, Jodi is keeping her feet firmly planted on the ground as a land volunteer but we may get her in the water one of these years. She is eyeing the kids splash event closely. As the kids grow and start to move on to other adventures we thought forming a family team would allow us to continue to fundraise for this event that does so much for our community in whatever way we each can. There is not one of us who has not had cancer touch our lives in some way. This work is so important to the quality of care and treatments available in our small island community for residents and visitors alike.
We so appreciate your continued support,
Team Levesque: Pat, Jodi, JT and Claire
If you are able, please support me by making a donation to my personal fundraising page. Every bit helps and will make a huge impact on those fighting cancer on Nantucket.
