This summer I have chosen to participate in Swim Across America Nantucket. If you know me and my family you probably know all that we have been through. My mom has been fighting cancer and its residual effects for 8+ years.  She is the most inspiring person I know and has inspired me to do this.

There are shorter options, but I am going all in for the 4-miler. A mile to honor my mom, a mile for our Nantucket friend Steve Roethke, a mile for all the families who have been through the same pain we have, and a mile for all the cancer patients who can’t.

I can do hard and I will do the hard work to train and to raise money to support cancer patients on our favorite island. I hope you will consider making a donation to my personal fundraising page to help me reach my goal of $4,000. Every bit helps and will make a huge impact on those fighting cancer on Nantucket. No amount is too small – whatever you can do will be greatly appreciated.
