Open Water Swimming has become a passion in my life over the past few years. On July 22, 2023, I will be swimming a 4-mile swim with Swim Across America Nantucket. I am very happy to combine my love of the water with this amazing fundraising opportunity to help people fighting cancer.

Every 15 minutes, 50 Americans are diagnosed with cancer. We have all been touched by cancer in some way, either personally or through friends and family. My swim with the Swim Across America-Nantucket family will help give cancer patients hope by raising funds to support cancer treatment and patient care.

Proceeds from this event will directly support  Nantucket Cottage Hospital's oncology program. Many cancer services are performed in the new state of the art Swim Across America Infusion Center.  SAA Nantucket funding also supports Palliative and Supportive Care of Nantucket, allowing them to provide direct care and services to patients and families who are coping with cancer, free of charge.
