On July 30, I will swim 1 mile in Long Island Sound along with other members of Team Carolyn, in memory of my best swim lanemate, Carolyn Jaenisch, who we tragically lost to terminal adenocarcinoma on November 27, 2021.

In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer. I joined the Swim Across America community so that, together, we can change that.
