Welcome to My Personal Page
It's been a busy year for cancer. Two women I knew died from pancreatic cancer; a friend's son from colorectal cancer. A high school classmate was diagnosed and successfully treated for throat cancer. A woman in my Mahjong group was diagnosed and recently completed treatment for breast cancer. And still another woman is being treated (with one of the drugs our researchers developed) for advance-stage lung cancer. It's relentless so we need to stay at least one step ahead of it.
This year the hair color challenge was preempted by my stylist's offer to paint leapard spots on my hair. (see photo)
If you are able, please support my fund-raising effort by making a donation. The researchers who receive our support are in our community* and are the next generation of cancer pioneers. Without Swim Across America's early stage funding, they are not able to conduct trials that can lead to breakthroughs that can save lives. Thank you for helping make an impact in the fight to find a cure!
