Dear Friends & Family:

Every one of us has directly or indirectly suffered a loss from cancer, and as many of you know, it touched my family directly with our recent loss of my sister Jill this past fall.  

While incredible advances have been made, there are so many more just on our doorstep.  The more quickly we can fund the research, the more people we can help avoid and/or survive this disease. For example, one of the organizations funded by Swim Across America (SAA) is developing an early detection blood test to be given at annual physicals and an injection that will make any immunotherapy work.

In trying to do my part, I have once again joined SAA's Team Carolyn for the August 3rd, 2024 Open Water Swim in Glen Cove NY.  My good friend Steve started the Team after losing his wife Carolyn to cancer.  In its first two years, the Team has raised more than $500,000.  This year, I have signed up for the 2 mile swim and I hope you will join me in exceeding my $15,000 fundraising goal by clicking on the Donate Now button above.
