Welcome to My Personal Page
My beautiful Carolyn went in for a knee MRI on June 15, 2021 and passed on November 27, 2021. She died from Stage 4 non- smoking EGFR lung Cancer. a very rare type. Carolyn was a kind, caring, passionate, strong and incredible woman. An amazing Mom and Wife. She was taken way, way too early as we had so many plans. But one thing she loved doing was swimming in the Long Island Sound. So in her memory and honor we will be swimming with SAA for our second year on Sunday July 30, 2023 in the LI Sound. Last year we raised over $230,000 and have joined our Team Carolyn with Team Excel to make an even bigger impact in our second year. We must beat Cancer. I know she will be smiling down on us from way above. she would be in shock at the support and love she has received. But she definitely deserves this. So many people have been so generous with cards, calls, texts and donations to beat this horrible disease. no one should go through what Carolyn did.If you are able, please support me by making a gift. The researchers we are funding are in our community and are the next generation of cancer pioneers. Without Swim Across America early stage funding, they are not able to conduct trials that can lead to breakthroughs that can save lives. Thank you for helping make an impact in the fight to find a cure!
Love, Steve
