Please join us for the 11th annual TEAM STACEY swim, held in memory of Stacey Rose Leondis. The Sound to Cove swim will take place on Saturday, August 3rd at Morgan Park. Since 2009, Team Stacey has raised over $1,143,000 for cancer research, treatment & prevention, help us continue our fight!
Stacey was a beautiful, smart and exuberant young woman. Stacey was diagnosed with osteosarcoma when she was 16 years old and passed away at the young age of 23. During those seven years, she started the FOSTER Foundation (fighting osteo sarcoma through everyday research), graduated high school, graduated Yale University and was accepted to Mount Sinai medical school.
We swim, volunteer, kayak for Stacey and for SO many families and friends who have and are battling cancer. Help us raise funds for cancer research- for those we've lost, for those in treatment and for all survivors! Join, volunteer, donate!
This year, we dedicate our swim to Hudson Robert Foschi, a very brave and adventurous little boy. Hudson swam in our family fun swim with boundless energy, joy and happiness.
We will swim harder holding on to the memory of two VERY special people who lost their battle with this dreadful disease-
An incredible and inspirational young man, Bobby Menges and our dear friend Debbie Amodeo, both team Stacey supporters.
Be sure to note the swimmer you are sponsoring in the memo section of the check.
