ABOUT

Swim Across America is proud to host our 11th Annual Rhode Island Open Water Swim on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2020. This fundraising event directly benefits cancer research, prevention and treatment at Women & Infants Hospital of Rhode Island. In 2019 we raised over $230,000, the benchmark we hope to surpass in 2020.

We invite you to join new and returning swimmers of all ages and skill levels for a 0.5 mile or 1.0 mile ocean swim at scenic Roger Wheeler State Beach in the Town of Narragansett. Located between Point Judith and the Block Island Ferry, this popular venue is protected from Block Island Sound by an extensive breakwater barrier.

You may also help “Make Waves to Fight Cancer” by registering as a SAA-RI land or water volunteer or by making a financial donation. Every contribution matters.

If you have any questions about SAA - Rhode Island, please contact Doug Sayles.

This benefit swim has sold out the last three years. Register early to ensure your spot!
