As a junior at Providence College my coach, John O'Neill, helped to create the Swim Across America - Rhode Island event, and what a difference it has made in the lives of so many. I have participated in this event 5 times and this will be the sixth swim with Providence College Swimming & Diving. 

Virtually every person I know has been impacted by cancer, either facing the battle on their own or through their loved ones. Together, we can fight back and through funding research can help to make this world a little brighter.
