More than 300,000 women will receive breast or ovarian cancer diagnoses in the U.S. this year alone.
Over the last 13 years, Swim Across America’s open water charity swim in Rhode Island has raised over $2 million for cancer research at Women & Infants Hospital. This money has gone towards funding breakthroughs that have changed the way we understand, detect, and treat breast and gynecologic cancers.
As clinicians, scientists, and staff in the Program in Women's Oncology of Women and Infants Hospital, we are motivated to achieve better patient outcomes through cutting-edge treatment and innovative research. Since 2010, much of our work has been made possible through the funding provided by Swim Across America.
