Welcome to My Personal Page
In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer. I joined the Swim Across America community so that, together, we can change that statistic.
So many lives have been touched by cancer. In 2021, I lost my father to a complication from squamous cell carcinoma. In 1998 I lost my mother to brain cancer. I swim for everyone in my family, for my friends and colleagues, and specifically for my coach, friend and mentor, Tim Pierce. Tim was a fixture in Maryland Swimming and at Loyola Blakefield, who lost his battle with cancer in 2016.
If you are able, please support me by joining a swim, volunteering or making a gift. The researchers we are funding are in our community and are the next generation of cancer pioneers. Without Swim Across America early stage funding, they are not able to conduct trials that can lead to breakthroughs that can save lives. Thank you for helping make an impact in the fight to find a cure!
