In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer.  Sadly, a few years ago, Patti joined this "club" but happily, she kicked cancer's a%% and is doing great. 

I joined the SAA community so that I could honor Patti, and the many people who have both lost this battle or continue to fight the battle.  I will again be joining a large group of brave souls who will swim in the San Francisco Bay to both bring attention to this issue but importantly also raise money to fight cancer.
