This year I’m swimming in honor of Parker, who will be 2ish years old by the time of the swim. Parker was diagnosed with leukemia at the beginning of March. Parker’s mom is one of our coaches and until he  became ill he often appeared on the pool deck to “help” his mom coach the workout. 

In San Francisco Swim Across America supports pediatric cancer research. Which develops treatments for children like Parker. Please consider making a donation to Swim Across America.

I am also swimming in honor of so many of my friends and family that have had or have cancer.
