Thanks to your generosity, I have raised nearly $500,000 during the last twelve years for cancer research, prevention and treatment.  In 2021, I set the all-time Swim Across America national fundraising record.  This year I am swimming in memory of my friend Mariana Wall.  Mariana passed away in February after a courageous year-long battle with colorectal cancer.

All proceeds from this year’s swim will support cancer research and complex patient care at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital and Children's Hospital Oakland Research Institute. If I hit my $25,000 goal, I will swim the 1.5 miles on September 30 without a wet suit in the San Francisco Bay - thank you for your generosity!
