September 28 at 8am I will be swimming from the San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge to the Marina Yacht Harbor to raise money for cancer research.
I need your support! Cancer research saved my life! I was diagnosed in 2014, went through chemo, radiation, and surgery in 2015, and am living a great life, thanks to people like you! I'm going to jump into the murky, super-cold, choppy water and swim 1.75 miles to give back. Ask yourself, what are you willing to do or give to help save a life? Odds are, that cancer has touched your life in one way or another. Now is the time to do something!
**Asking for money is difficult, much more difficult than swimming, but it's for a cause I believe in.
If you want to give it a try, I encourage you to join me the swim! Let me know and I'll fill you in with everything you need to know and will give you tons of encouragement. Otherwise, I hope you'll help the cause by making a donation. It's easy, and no amount is too small!
In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer. I joined the SAA community so that, together, we can change that. I am challenging myself by swimming in the San Francisco Bay Open Water Swim and raising as much money to fight cancer as I can. Please support me by sponsoring my swim and making a gift. The money you give will go towards cancer research, prevention and treatment and will make an impact in the fight to find a cure. Thank you for your generosity and may it lead to a cancer-free world!
You can make a credit card donation here, or send a check to Swim Across America, c/o Anthony DuComb, 1684 8th Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94122.
Check should be made out to Swim Across America but please include a note mentioning my name as the swimmer you are supporting! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Much love to you!
