Welcome to Team Salesforce! Ken Takahashi ('19) + Taylor Nanfria ('15) reconnected at Salesforce after their swim careers at UC Berkeley, and are excited to participate and raise awareness for an important cause - Cancer Research. 

We hope that you'll join us either in the bay or cheering from the sidelines! A little about us and this organization: 

Ken is originally from Southern California in Irvine, CA. Ken has since stayed in the Bay Area, where he began his sales career at Salesforce in February 2023. Outside of work, Ken loves to work out, avid pickle ball player, and collect music of all genres

Taylor is born and raised in the Bay Area, originally from Danville. She has been working for Salesforce for 7 years and loves to swim in the bay, and enjoy the outdoors through running, biking, and skiing. 

A little about the reason we are doing this swim:

Founded in 1987, Swim Across America has hosted charity swims with one goal: to raise money for innovative cancer research that would lead to breakthrough treatments and therapies. Since then, Swim Across America has raised over $100M to fund the next generation of pioneers in oncology and cancer-support care.

No one fights cancer alone. Our team joined Swim Across America because we believe in their mission and want to help give more families hope. If you’re able, please support us by making a donation to help us reach our fundraising goal.
