We are doing it again!  This will be the 16th year of Team TBD forming up, raising money for cancer research, and celebrating with an open water swim.  Every year it’s a bit of work, it pushes us to connect with our family, friends, and community and ask for donations.  Why do we keep doing it?  We are doing it because cancer isn't going away.  We need to support our friends, family, and colleagues who are impacted by cancer.  Swim Across America funds are leveraged locally by the Fred Hutch team in Seattle.  In the years we have been contributing, new treatments and new therapies have been developed.  The initial experimental therapies we funded grew into large projects and received larger federal funding.
