Hi Family and Friends,

Cancer freakin' sucks.

Cancer has cut short the lives of too many of my loved ones. Although lifestyle and genetic factors have some connection, everyone else has a story about a perfectly healthy person who did all the right things and still was diagnosed with cancer. Did you know that the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance unites UW Medicine, Fred Hutch, and Seattle Children's Hospital to bring the leading science and innovation in cancer care to the patient as quickly as possible?

I joined the SAA community so that, together, we can change that. I am challenging myself by raising as much money to fight cancer as I can. Please support me by sponsoring Swim Across America and making a gift. The money you give will go towards cancer research, prevention and treatment and will make an impact in the fight to find a cure.  Thank you for your generosity and may it lead to a cancer-free world!
