Team Thunder C@$!
As we all know we lost Mama Ratcliff and hoping my treatment concludes in 2024 and I am considered "cured." This will be my 4th year doing this swim and am hoping to have a few others do it with me. Cancer sucks and takes away the most amazing people in this world. This swim and donations directly go to Fred Hutch in Seattle where I received all my life saving treatment. They are top notch and not only saved my life, but took care of my whole family and ARMY through both my battle and my mothers. Though Mama received treatment somewhere else, my doctor team became family and they were very supportive through her battle also.
Any support whether you want to do the swim with me or donate money would be greatly appreciated. I have said it from the beginning and will say it the rest of my life I could have never survived this battle without my ARMY!!!!!!!!!!!
In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer. I joined the SAA community so that, together, we can change that. I am challenging myself by swimming in the Seattle Open Water Swim and raising as much money to fight cancer as I can. Please support me by sponsoring my swim and making a gift. The money you give will go towards cancer research, prevention and treatment and will make an impact in the fight to find a cure. Thank you for your generosity and may it lead to a cancer-free world!
You can make a credit card donation here, or send a check to Swim Across America - Seattle, 6917 93rd Avenue SE, Mercer Island, WA 98040.
Check should be made out to Swim Across America but please include a note mentioning my name as the swimmer you are supporting!
