Be a participant!
But....this year, DON'T DONATE!!
Yep, that's what I said...this year what our team is asking is simple...
Prayer for those in need...if you can help someone...do it.
Generosity...with your time and gifts...share what you have with others.
Hope...we will get through the current situation...hope for a better tomorrow.
Love...embrace your family and love your neighbor. Cherish your human connections.
In return, if you love our post, you become an honorary member of our team and we will give a little to this fundraiser on your behalf.
And while we won't be swimming in Lake Washington this year, we are able to swim in a pool and our little lake, counting miles and hours...and with each, we say a little prayer of hope for a cure!
Find out more about my story and multiple myeloma at my blog www.thisnewjourney.blog
I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in 2016. The life expectancy was 3-4 years!
I'm still here...alive and triving!
I am an example of new and improved treatments that are proving to extend life expectancy and bring hope to those of us with this dreadful cancer. The research continues and gives me hope for a long a fruitful life.
I swim to raise awareness of this type of cancer and also to raise funds for research and clinical trials.
I swim because I am alive and thriving and thankful for every lap and every mile I can still do!
I swim for my family!
I swim because I value the expertise and enthusiam of Seattle Cancer Care Alliance!
I swim to raise funds for research and clinical trials and appreciate your support.
I swim for a cure!
