Founded in 1987, Swim Across America has hosted charity swims with one goal: to raise money for innovative cancer research that would lead to breakthrough treatments and therapies. Since then, Swim Across America has raised over $100M to fund the next generation of pioneers in oncology and cancer-support care. 

As you all know, my love of swimming runs deep. While I always thought of myself as a "pool" swimmer, swimming in the lake surrounded by mountains and a beautiful sunrise provides a sense of serenity. My hope through Swim Across America is to not just help their mission, but to give a sense of peace to all those families that may be going through a difficult time.
