Founded in 1987, Swim Across America has hosted charity swims with one goal: to raise money for innovative cancer research that would lead to breakthrough treatments and therapies. Since then, Swim Across America has raised over $100M to fund the next generation of pioneers in oncology and cancer-support care. Last year in 2022, SAA-Seattle donated $320,000 directly to our very own Seattle Cancer Care Alliance and Fred Hutch.

No one fights cancer alone. Our team at MSC joined Swim Across America because we believe in their mission and want to help give more families hope.  We understand the sacrifice and fight patients and survivors have undergone to fight cancer, and we are supporting one of our very own at MSC who is currently undergoing treatment for leukemia. In addition, as a community on Mercer Island, our MSC Midlakes team is participating in the All-Island Meet on July 18th, 2023 along with the MIBC and MICC clubs to fundraise as a bigger community toward this important cause for cancer research and treatment developments.
