Returning for my second year at SAA Innsbrook to swim 2.4 miles. Joining SBR Triathlon Club of St. Louis for this wonderful event on August 24, 2019.
It saddens me to think how many we have lost to the battle of cancer and I will swim for many in 2019. However, I do wish to carry on the name of a good man and friend of my family for many years - so, 2019 will again be in Memory of Al Bauer. Gone but never forgotten.

5/1/19 Update (from Facebook)
March was a rough month. Didn't hit my personal goal of 20 miles for the month, but picked up some miles on the bike and actually went out running for the first time this year. Thanks to all who have donated so far! Every dollar helps AND stays local.
Also - April is adult learn to swim month. If you have been thinking about it please feel free to direct message me. I will be happy to help you find the perfect instructor. 😊

1/31/19 Update (from Facebook)
January 2019. This month was all about the Monday-Friday swims. I had 23 sessions, 10 hours, and 20.89 miles of swimming this month. I'm grateful for every flip turn because it means I am healthy enough to be able to get out there and swim.
After falling down my steps mid January, I had to take some time off cycling which really had me down. So glad that I have swimming! However, that little blip was a good reminder of just how lucky I am in this life. After every swim I take a moment to remember those who are not so fortunate.
I'm looking forward to the coming months of swimming and preparing for the Swim Across America Open Water event in Innsbrook, MO. Every penny raised stays local and benefits those fighting cancer in our community ❤️
