From Sulaiman: This is my sixth year participating in the event. This year I will be swimming 2 miles. The last three years I raised over $1000, each time, and hope to make it to that same amount again. I am raising funds in honor of my Great Papou, Great Grandma, and Uncle Jim, all of whom battled with different kinds of cancers.

The event costs are sponsored by corporations so that all money raised goes to John Hopkins All Childrens Hospital!

In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer. I joined the SAA community so that, together, we can change that. I am challenging myself by swimming in the Tampa Bay Open Water Swim and raising as much money to fight cancer as I can. Please support me by sponsoring my swim and making a gift.
